Nutrition is the specialty that seeks to improve people’s quality of life through diet therapeutic treatments and nutritional food education. Tailor-made nutritional plans are created for each patient, which are established according to the goals that have been set in terms of weight and measurements.
This evaluation allows a comprehensive approach to determine nutritional status through medical, nutritional and pharmacological history. Physical examination, anthropometric measurements and laboratory data allow actions to be taken to prevent the development of diseases.
