Originally from San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, he studied at the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (UAG) obtaining the title of Surgeon.
Later he moved to the city of Tijuana, Baja California, where he completed a 2-year residency in General Surgery at Hospital General De Tijuana, endorsed by the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC).
Finally, Dr. Vásquez, performs the subspecialty at the National Institute of Cardiology “Ignacio Chávez”, obtaining the title of Cardiothoracic Surgeon, issued by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
He currently has more than 13 years of certified studies, being an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung diseases. He has performed and participated in multiple heart and lung surgeries, including heart transplantation.
It is certified by the National Council of Thoracic Surgery (CNCT).
